Nature Walks for Women who want to grow healthier and be part of an encouraging community of women.
Over the last few years, daily walking has become one of the ways I’ve found to love myself well. It’s been a key ingredient of reuniting with my God-given body as I enter into the next phase of life, and kick-started a slow process of what it looks like to be healthy. It makes my heart happy, get’s my muscles moving and inspires my creative mind. It also feels slow, holy and purposeful.
I am trialling 3 women’s walks in Kent on:
Wednesday 22nd April
Friday 24th April
Monday 27th April
Would you consider helping me try this idea out? Is there a best day/time that suits you?
A few details:
Every walk will start with prayer.
I will take the stress off navigating, so you don’t have to work out all the logistics.
Walks will range from 45 mins (easy) to roughly 2 hours (moderate).
Walks won’t tend be wheelchair or buggy friendly.
Adventures will probably go ahead even if a bit rainy.
There will probably be a cafe/pub somewhere along the way or you can pack food/drinks.
We might have moments where we talk about healthy eating as part of our journey of looking after ourselves.
We will reflect on what meaningful things we have done the week before.
Be prepared to meet new ladies, breathe fresh air and get muddy.
Straight-forward dogs welcome (if the trail allows), mine won’t walk with us, he is not straight-forward.
Come as you are :)
Please fill out the form if you are interested in being updated. I can then Whatsapp logistics nearer the scheduled walk date and we can see who is about.
For these trials walks there will be a maximum of 5 walkers for each walk. At some point I envisage up to 20.
